American Landmarks, LLC
Historic Property Real Estate Brokerage Services

Our Mission:
American Landmarks was established with one purpose only - to bring sensitive intelligent brokerage and consulting services to an industry that was woefully ill-equipped to promote historic preservation in the marketplace. Back in 1979, there was no clearly defined group of Buyers and Sellers whose personal interest was in the stewardship of a period home. Today they are legion and their sense of purpose is strong.

An old house is not for everyone, but for those of us who own and love them, there really is no choice. A sense of pride comes with the responsibility of owning one.

At American Landmarks our staff is committed to providing the best possible service to our clientele. That means, for our Sellers, by achieving the highest possible sales price from the most appreciative, qualified and sensitive new owners. For Buyers it means finding the "perfect" old house that will be a worthy reflection of their own commitment to preservation.

If you receive our newsletter and are considering a move, we would like to discuss with you the qualitative difference American Landmarks has brought to our clients for more than two decades. Please call (781) 729-5174 for a confidential appointment to discuss a custom-tailored marketing strategy for your unique property.

American Landmarks is New England's oldest specialty Realtor for homes built prior to 1940. With experience successfully marketing historic properties since 1979, our team of specialists at American Landmarks is the choice of those Sellers and Buyers who expect nothing but the best personalized, professional service.

Building personal relationships that last beyond the sale of a cherished family home is a hallmark of our firm. American Landmarks' dedicated Associates consistently go beyond the industry norm. "Business as usual" is simply not in our vocabulary.

Each historic property listed and sold by American Landmarks is, by definition, unique. Whether it be a Georgian Colonial of the 1730's, a Greek Revival of the 1830's, or an Eclectic Tudor of the 1930's, every home we represent is a superior example of its style.

Time is the most valuable commodity of all. Knowledgeable Buyers expect and deserve to use their house-hunting time efficiently. Our Associates clarify investment objectives with Buyers and show them only those select properties which meet key criteria.

As the source for historic and period properties in New England, American Landmarks, Realtors maintains and constantly updates an extensive file of offerings - not just our own listings and those in the Multiple Listing Service, but also many homes available privately through the informal preservation network.

Most of our Sellers, having lived for many years in the home they eventually sell, feel a deep sense of responsibility towards it. When the time comes to move, they want the next person in the line of stewardship to care as much as they have.

To achieve this important goal, we create a customized marketing program targeted at preservation-minded Buyers. In large part, that's why our Sellers have a sense of comfort calling on American Landmarks, Realtors to handle the sale of their homes for them - not only are they confident of getting a top price, but, just as important, they're confident their home will have a caring and appreciate new owner.
